The Crystal Chronicles. Prologue
35 years ago, Earth used to be a very complicated place. Wars and pollution plagued the populations of great nations. People and animals both suffered equally. These constant problems drove the people and it's ecosystem to near-destruction. Animals of all species after constant successful generations before spanning over many centuries simply died. People suffered greatly. They did not know how to carry on their lives without animals as it was what kept humans alive. But, strangely enough, one day in the barren lands of the different continents in the world, unknown meteors hit and a new life form emerged from them. It was the first signs of a replacement species; one that had literally just come out of nowhere. Pokémon was born. These strange creatures of all sizes and shapes, colors, and species adapted the different habitats of the world progressively. It truly stunned the scientific world and people everywhere. They seemed to love human attention and didn't mind being observed and studied at all by humans. The new species were slowly discovered and named. We didn't know why or where they came from. But, they we're all always friendly to humans whether big or little in their appearance.
Pokémon training quickly became a popular pastime for people. The Pokémon and people loved the competition battling. There was never any trouble between Pokémon and humans. Never. Battling was purely in sport and play for them. They were respected creatures; sacred even. It was the first time people really came together with these creatures, and achieved one great thing: peace. It is the year 2043. A world where humans and Pokémon existed in perfect harmony was once the utopia of the earths past. This seemingly perfect idea has hit a turning point where some Pokémon had suddenly become aggressive towards humans. Not all Pokémon were aggressive however, and even began to protect the humans. A civil war between these groups had broken out. Now, two trainers from different periods of time must take a stand for Earth and uncover the truth behind these behaviors. It will lead them on a fine line between what's real and what's not in an effort to keep what everyone truly desires: peace and harmony between people and Pokémon.
