This third game installment of the D/P series was released on March 22, 2009 in the US. The game greatly improves on numerous aspects of the original Diamond/Pearl games:
For starters, battle speed and movement is much quicker than in the two previous games. New and improved sprites and animations really add to the game along with slightly tweaked graphical enhancements (buildings, characters, climates are all improved graphically). The games features a new form of Giratina and also re-introduces the Battle Frontier (originally found in Emerald). Over 60 Sinnoh Pokémon that were previously unavailable until after getting a National Pokédex in D/P are now available right away as well.
