Safari Zone Additions
Players of Pokémon Emerald get a real bonus from The Safari Zone: the addition of Johto Pokémon. After you defeat the Elite Four and become Pokémon champion, a new area will open up on the Safari Zone's Eastern side. You'll need a Pokémon that knows Surf, Rocksmash, and Waterfall to explore the new area to it's fullest. The following Johto Pokémon can be found there:
