Gender Differences
To seperate the differences between male and female Pokémon in Diamond and Pearl, there are now both male and female sprites. This is only the case with certain Pokémon in the Shinnoh Diamond/Pearl Pokédex, and certain national Pokémon however. Below are two examples of the differences can be seen below:
Male/Female Examples:
Pikachu:
