Emerald offers something both unique and cool after completing your Honen Pokédex: the ability to pick a Johto starter Pokémon. After you capture all 200 Pokémon native the Hoenn, visit Professor Birch where he'll let you choose between Cyndaquil, Totodile, or Chikorita. Bear in mind that you can only pick one of the three.
