Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Red and Blue are one of the more popular spin-off games in the Pokémon series. The two games were released in the US on September 18, 2006. Mystery Dungeon Blue was released for the DS while Red was released for the Gameboy Advance. There are no major differences between the two games other than the Touch Screen interface for Blue version.
In contrast to the traditional Pokémon trainer RPG, players play as a Pokémon after taking a personality survey in the beginning of the game. From there, you're taken into the world of Pokémon from a Pokémon's perspective. In Mystery Dungeon, the Pokémon world is dealing with unexplained natural disasters. You and your partner Pokémon form a rescue team to find the cause for the natural disasters and help Pokémon in need. Players then set out to explore various dungeons throughout the world. Players can also be friends with other Pokémon they meet in dungeons, and have them join their rescue team. All 386 Pokémon are obtainable in the games.
