Amity Square (Platinum)

There are some pretty big differences of Amity Square in Platinum version. The entire park has been revamped and looks visually more like a park than the last time around. First and foremost, the starter Pokémon can now be taken into Amity Square. Here's the list below:

  • Pikachu
  • Clefairy
  • Jigglypuff
  • Psyduck
  • Torchic
  • Shroomish
  • Skitty
  • Pachirisu
  • Drifloon
  • Buneary
  • Happiny
  • Turtwig
  • Grotile
  • Torterra
  • Chimchar
  • Monferno
  • Infernape
  • Piplup
  • Prinplup
  • Empoleon

As before, there are two entrances to Amity Square; only this time they lead to different sections of the park. The left entrance will take you into the main grassy area. The entrance on the right will take you on the mountainous side with those old cave structures. Now, if you go inside these caves, they will wrap you to different sections of the park. There's a wrap pad on the left, right, and top when you walk into one of the caves.

You'll find the following items around Amity Square: 2

  • TM43 (Secret Power)
  • TM45 (Attract)
  • Spooky Plate
  • Amulet Coin

About every 200 steps your Pokémon will find something. What it finds though does depend slightly on which Pokémon you're walking with. I've created charts below showing which type of items each Pokémon can find:
